  Crystal Castles was a Canadian witch house duo formed in 2006 by producer Ethan Kath and singer Alice Glass, who later left the band and was replaced by Edith Frances. Their name comes from a commercial for She-Ra's castle, which stated, "The crystal castle is the source of all power."
